Pep Guardiola to receive FWA Tribute
We at the FWA are delighted to announce that we will be honouring Pep Guardiola at our Tribute Night dinner, on Sunday January 16th.The Manchester City manager has accepted the invitation to be our special guest of honour at the Landmark Hotel London.

Give Something Back – Dec 14-16
A reminder that this weekend we are hoping to Give Something Back in press boxes throughout the country. The FWA is teaming up with clubs and charities for the homeless and hungry. Executive Secretary Paul McCarthy explains below:"Dear Member,

Steve Curry – more tributes
Tributes have been flowing for Steve Curry, our friend, colleague and former FWA Chairman, who has passed away after a short illness at the age of 76:Norman Giller, his former Express colleague and friend, tweeted: “Reeling from news of Steve Curry’s passing. We were close colleagues at the Express. One of the best contacts men in the football reporting business and a great raconteur. We were together recently and I jokingly mocked him for being overweight. A good man.”

RALPH ELLIS – Funeral details
Ralph's family have sent their thanks for the many tributes and messages that have appeared in the days since his passing last weekend.They have asked us to notify friends and colleagues that his funeral will be on Monday October 15 at Weston Super Mare Crematorium at 1.30pm
Afterwards at The Nut Tree pub in Worle.

FWA Live – Lampard and Scott on fine form
Our latest FWA Live was a great success, with England Legends Frank Lampard and Alex Scott joining Carrie Brown, Neil Ashton and Paul McCarthy on a panel to discuss the FA Cup final, World Cup and many other topics.Supported by our title sponsors William Hill, it was held at the Landmark Hotel, London, on Thursday May 17 and covered a lot of ground. Frank and Alex kindly donated their fees to charity. Frank donated his to the Matthew Harding Trust while Alex supported Millwall Lionesses, who are struggling to survive.
